A 19th Century mansion that sits over looking the Hudson. The mansion is a Federal-style finished by famous cabinet-makers of the time period, including Duncan Phyfe. Boscobel features majestic gardens, an orange orchard, herb and rose gardens and an apple orchard. There is also a Gate House and a Gift Shop. Admission fee for a guided tour, or just to visit the grounds. Seasonal hours of operation.

The Putnam County Historical Society & Foundry School Museum, founded in 1906, houses a diverse collection including West Point Foundry artifacts, "The Gun Foundry" painting by John Ferguson Weir, regional artifacts and costumes including the Ludington Store, Country Kitchen, Foundry School Room, and genealogical records of local families. Temporary exhibition space features a range of exhibitions from the Museum's own glass plate negative collection, a costume exhibition in 2006, and items from local collectors such as "America the Beautiful: Women and the Flag," now a traveling exhibition. The Museum is open March - December, Tuesday through Thursday from 10 AM to 4 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 5 PM. Foundry Cove

In the beginning of the 19th century, the government commissioned this foundry to begin manufacturing valuable products. Among them, the Parrott Gun, the weapon credited with allowing the Union to win the Civil War. Now the cove is a preserve open for observation and hiking.
